The sad death of Brenda Jones. Chairperson of Bourne Civic Society

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Jones.

Brenda served as Chairman of the Bourne Civic Society for 25 years up until 2025, after being in several roles previously. Her dedication, commitment, and passion for Bourne and its heritage will be remembered by many.

Her work at the Heritage Centre at Baldocks Mill was inspiring, and her enthusiasm for all things Bourne was infectious. She will be remembered as a great supporter of the Aveland History Group.

Her funeral is being held in Bourne Abbey Church on Monday, 16th March at 10.30 am.
