Aveland Stories & Crafts

We are excited to promote our new initiative. 

Aveland Stories & Crafts was born out of the work we did for the Worth200 Festival, when we were pleased to host a well-received series of craft workshops all celebrating the life and times of the father of Haute Couture Charles Frederick Worth.

For our next programme, we have chosen to explore a series of monthly themes by organising visits, experiences and talks, coupled with friendly, accessible tutored workshops.

The events start in September and run through into spring 2027, and we are hoping that there will be something for everybody.

Some workshops have limited places, and we have tried to keep the costs as low as practically possible, so early booking is recommended.

We had an absolute blast before, so looking forward to meeting old friends and making new ones, all in the pursuit of our wonderful local history.
