VISIT TO RIPPINGALE STATION – Sunday 19th July 2026

Jan, 2026 | Events, News

Visit to Rippingale Station with Ken Wainwright, local railway historian.

Rippingale Station is situated just west of Rippingale village. From Bourne, heading north on the A15, turn right on the B1177 towards Billingborough; after Dunsby, at the Rippingale crossroads, turn right and the station is on your left.

Our small group visit starts at 2.00pm, with tickets £10 for adults, £5 for children under 12 – these will go on sale in June.

The visit includes a short talk about the past local railway scene, viewing of Bourne Station model (as featured in the local press) and other models, including a fairground as well as guided walks around the old station building.
Cakes and drinks are available from the outdoor cafe and there may even be a chance to drive a full-sized diesel engine on our track!
